Installations, Stained Glass and Traditional Art

Installations

At the begining of September, I put on my first gallery exhibition at San Jose State University's gallery. In it, I explored the Five Senses, and combined interactive elements in each canvas. Touch was tacitle, Smell had scented sections, with essiential oils hiding behind the canvas. For hearing, I set up a raspberry pi with a microphone and a speaker, and a button to playback the audios recorded in the gallery. Click below to see a video on the process, the installation, and the exhibition!

Stained Glass

About 2 years ago, I decided stained glass pieces looked fun to make, so I taught myself! This project took about a month total of work, spread out over three months. The steps to creating a stained glass suncatcher involve cutting and grinding the glass to shape, foiling the perimeter of each piece with copper foil tape, and then soldering it all together.

Window Display

For a little over a year, my dad and I have been able to paint the window for a local bakery! The most recent one was at the beginning of October, creating a fall design that would still be good all the way through Thanksgiving.
